Plan an Event

The Carter School Community comes alive when we are able to gather, either internally or publicly.

To properly plan, fund, organize, and publicize our events, requires hard work and a significant amount of preparation. The policies laid out for meetings and events are to help streamline the planning process and ensure that everything runs as well and as smoothly as possible.

Host an Event

Requests for room reservations will be honored on a first come, first serve basis for internal Carter School meetings and events. Please note, while the minimum requirement to submit a request is two weeks prior to event, the recommended time to plan an event is 6 weeks. This is to help ensure that there is enough time to promote and plan the event to make it a success. Other meeting spaces may be reserved for breakout rooms for the main event. Spaces are free of charge for Internal Carter School staff, students, and faculty and Mason affiliates. Charges apply for external organizations, please reach out to tcsevent@gmu.edu for pricing.

If you are interested in hosting an event through the Carter School, fill out the event request form. Once your request has been received, the Event team will be able to work with you on coordinating all necessary details.

To request additional information about these spaces, room reservations, or receive a consultation about planning an event on in Mason Square please email tcsevent@gmu.edu.
