Biography
Charisse M. Cardenas is a Master’s graduate at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. Her academic research included the recognition of sex work in Java and Bali Indonesia, and gang proliferation in the English Speaking Caribbean. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Law (Double Major) from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of London. Prior to the Carter School she was employed as a human resource practitioner and employee relations contract negotiator, working closely with national trade unions in Trinidad and Tobago.
Charisse is fortunate to have experience in a range of corporate roles including general management, corporate client services, human resources and industrial relations. She has worked in a number of industries including Oil & Gas, Media & Communications, Public Utilities, National Sports Commission and Advertising.
