Biography
Nathanael is an Associate at the Consensus Building Institute (CBI) with over 8 years of experience in facilitation, community engagement, and coalition building. He is trained in conflict resolution and project management and specializes in the design and implementation of community engagement strategies and public participation processes. His experience includes public outreach, stakeholder management, event planning, and gathering and synthesizing stakeholder input for universities, organizations, state agencies, and municipalities. Nate holds a master’s in Project Management from Northeastern University as well as a B.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and a graduate certificate in Collaborative Leadership in Community Planning from George Mason University. He is an adjunct professor at George Mason University’s Carter School for Peace and Conflict Studies and vice president of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Northeast Chapter.
