Biography

Megan is the Director of Law and Technology at the Carter School Center for Peace Technology (CPT). In this role, she oversees program activities at the intersection of law, policy, and technological innovation. Her responsibilities include advocating for policies that advance the Center's goals, ensuring that all operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and driving initiatives that foster peace through technological advancement in a sustainable manner.

Prior to joining the Carter School, Megan worked as a technology and intellectual property attorney, helping innovative companies reach their goals via strategic intellectual property protection. She also revolutionized patent prosecution practice as a product director at LexisNexis, where she oversaw a suite of software tools aimed at illuminating discrepancies in USPTO patent examination through big data.
